El Día de la Resistencia Indígena es en recuerdo al
inicio de la lucha de los pueblos originarios contra la invasión
europea iniciada por Cristóbal Colón, quien en 1492 pisó tierras
americanas, llegada que fue inicio de masacres, saqueos, el mestizaje y
la transculturización.
Los pueblos indígenas irán este miércoles al Cuartel de la
Montaña, “a rendir honores y a reafirmar el juramento al comandante
eterno Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías y la lealtad hacia la Revolución y en
defensa de su legado
La
ministra para los Pueblos Indígenas, Aloha Núñez, destacó que este
miércoles, desde el Panteón Nacional, que los pueblos originarios, junto
al pueblo de Venezuela, marchan en defensa de la Revolución y levantan
su voz en resistencia contra el imperialismo.
“Desde muy temprano los pueblos
indígenas, acompañados del todo el pueblo venezolano tomaremos las
calles de Caracas, desde el Paseo Los Próceres, para marchar en defensa
de la Revolución y levantar nuestra voz en resistencia contra el
imperialismo norteamericano, que todavía pretende querer pisotearnos y
humillarnos”, resaltó Núñez.
Las declaraciones fueron ofrecidas en
transmisión de Venezolana de Televisión,durante los actos protocolares
en conmemoración al Día de la Resistencia Indígena, en el Panteón
Nacional, donde estuvo acompañada del ministro para Relaciones
Interiores Justicia y Paz, Néstor Reverol y el Alto Mando Militar.
La titular de los pueblos originarios
destacó que además de la izada del tricolor en el Panteón Nacional, irán
al Cuartel de la Montaña, “a rendir honores y a reafirmar nuestro
juramento a nuestro comandante eterno Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías y la
lealtad de los pueblos indígenas hacia la Revolución y en defensa de su
legado”.
“Aquí hay un pueblo atento y alerta. No
podía ser mejor día que este, para decirle al mundo, aquí está el pueblo
bolivariano, presente defendiendo la Revolución, el legado del
comandante Chávez y dando el respaldo contundente al presidente Nicolás
Maduro”, apuntó.
Entre las actividades previstas para
este miércoles, el pueblo patriota se movilizará en el Distrito Capital
desde distintos sectores hacia Plaza Venezuela, en una actividad donde
levantarán las banderas contra el imperialismo y se manifestará en
resistencia permanente contra toda forma de dominación, atropellos y
mecanismos de sometimiento.
La marcha tendrá como punto de
concentración el Monumento al Indio, ubicado en el Paseo Los Próceres,
desde donde partirán hasta el Paseo de la Resistencia Indígena, en Plaza
Venezuela.
También los motorizados realizarán una
caravana desde la parroquia Sucre de Caracas, hasta plaza Venezuela.
Mientras que los taxistas, jeepseros y autobuseros realizarán una
caravana desde la Redoma la India en el Paraíso hasta plaza Venezuela.
